Just like that, Term 3 has ended. We have just finished up with three excellent productions and are now getting ready for the September/October School Holiday Programme.
Both children's theatre productions, Our Town, directed by Fiona, and Charlotte's Web, directed by Michelle, were very successful. The students should be proud of the hard work they put in. The results were some wonderful performances.
We also had some of our newest students perform in some short stories. Getting on stage for the first time can be a nerve-wracking experience, but we were so impressed by the courage and ability these students showed. We are expecting big things in all their futures.
Our regular classes explored storytelling this term, and our offstagers worked on performing and creating play scripts. These classes progressed smoothly. It's been wonderful to see the culture of respect and kindness in the classrooms.
Speech classes have been progressing well, with all of our students continuing to improve their pieces and make substantial progress on their theory. All in preparation for their Trinity Exam next term.
BUT... the excitement hasn't quite ended. We are performing a production of Bad Jelly on October 2nd (the first Friday of the school holidays). The show includes a few staff members the students will recognise, alongside some of our amazing offstagers. Please come along and support the theatre group. Your attendance at our shows plays a huge role in the success and health of the community group.
If you have any primary or intermediate children looking for something fun to do these school holidays, make sure to book a space in our fun school holiday programme.

We can't wait to see you all soon!
